Rosemary moved from Ontario to Antigonish in 1991, when her husband became a faculty member at St. Francis Xavier University. She enjoys living in Antigonish, finding that it has been a wonderful place to raise her four sons. What she finds most enjoyable are the opportunities to enjoy the rich culture of this town. She and her family attend and participate in many of the musical venues, at the theatre, the university and around the area. Coming from southern Ontario, it is still at thrill to live so close to the ocean and to be able to explore the many beaches that are nearby.
Rosemary has her BA in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. She worked as a secretary in the President’s Office at the University of Waterloo, and in the Zoology Department at the University of Western Ontario before staying home with her sons. Rosemary returned to the workforce in 2006 as Administrative Assistant to Leonard and Betty MacDonald in their financial planning practice. She is an avid knitter, an active volunteer in Antigonish, lending her support to many organizations.
